Yes, we provide extraction services tailored to meet your NGS application requirements. RNA extraction can be included as part of any RNA-Seq project for an additional fee.
Yes! We accept samples that do not meet the minimum RNA requirements of other core facilities. We understand that certain sample types, such as exosomes, yield low RNA amounts. Our NGS services team specializes in working with limited RNA inputs. Using our small RNA sequencing library workflow, we can generate high-quality sequencing data from as little as 50 pg of RNA.
The required sample volume for cf-RNA or exosomal RNA extraction depends on the biological fluid type. We have optimized protocols specifying both the minimum and recommended volumes for plasma, serum, and other bodily fluids. Yes! At Norgen, we have developed and optimized protocols specifically for extracting RNA from archived samples. Our highly trained NGS service team can help determine the best approach to ensure the highest quality RNA yield from your archived material.

We sequence all RNA Sequencing projects on the Illumina® platform.
Yes. Our comprehensive service includes a basic bioinformatics analysis with trimming, filter and mapping of the raw reads. The analysis results are delivered as images, in the PDF report, and the final mapping results files on a secure link from which you can download. Advanced analysis and custom script development for RNA Sequencing, comes with an additional fee.
Our standard turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from the date of sample receipt. However, turnaround time may vary depending on the size and complexity of your project. For a more accurate estimate, please contact services@norgenbiotek.com.

We work closely with trusted shipping companies to ensure that your samples arrive in optimal condition. If you have specific concerns regarding sample integrity during transit, please contact services@norgenbiotek.com to discuss the best shipping options and procedures.
At Norgen, we implement multiple quality control (QC) checks throughout the sequencing workflow. The first QC check involves assessing RNA quality using a Bioanalyzer and/or Qubit to ensure high-quality extraction.

After your project is completed, we store your RNA samples at our facility for 6 months. If you require additional services or wish to have your samples returned, please let us know. If no request is made within 6 months, the samples will be discarded.
