Our NGS services team specializes in working with limited RNA inputs. Using our total or mRNA RNA sequencing workflow, we can generate high-quality sequencing data from as little as 50 pg of RNA.

The required sample volume for cf-RNA or exosomal RNA extraction depends on the biological fluid type. We have optimized protocols specifying both the minimum and recommended volumes for plasma, serum, and other bodily fluids. Yes. Our comprehensive service includes a basic bioinformatics analysis with trimming, filter and mapping of the raw reads. The analysis results are delivered as images, in the PDF report, and the final mapping results files on a secure link from which you can download. Advanced analysis and custom script development for RNA Sequencing, comes with an additional fee.

At Norgen, we implement multiple quality control (QC) checks throughout the sequencing workflow. The first QC check involves assessing RNA quality using a Bioanalyzer and/or Qubit to ensure high-quality extraction.

Our NGS service includes multiple QC steps to ensure high-quality sequencing results:

1. Initial RNA Quality Assessment: RNA is analyzed using a Bioanalyzer and/or Qubit.
2. Library Preparation QC: Once RNA meets quality standards, sequencing libraries are prepared. These libraries undergo quantification and qualification using a Bioanalyzer and PCR.
3. Final QC Check Before Sequencing: Only libraries that pass the quality assessment proceed to sequencing.

After your project is completed, we store your RNA samples at our facility for 6 months. If you require additional services or wish to have your samples returned, please let us know. If no request is made within 6 months, the samples will be discarded.
