Norgen’s Exosome Purification and RNA Isolation Kits enable fast, flexible, robust, and convenient all-in-one systems for intact exosome purification from a wide range of cell-free liquid biopsies and cell-free cell culture media, in addition to the subsequent exosomal RNA isolation from the purified intact exosomes. Relying on Norgen’s proprietary resin technology, the intact exosomes are purified in 30 minutes and are free from any cell-free circulating protein-bound RNA which typically contaminate exosomes and impedes effective exosomal content analyses. The purified intact exosomes are amenable to labelling, counting, imaging, and in vivo / in vitro functional studies, as well as exosomal analyte isolations and analyses.
These kits also allow for the subsequent isolation of RNA from the previously purified intact extracellular vesicles (EVs), including exosomes. The purification is based on Norgen’s proprietary resin which isolate all sizes of RNA, including microRNA, irrespective of size or GC content, without bias. The high integrity purified RNA is isolated in a flexible elution volume ranging from 50 µL to 100 µL, and can be used in a number of downstream applications including real time PCR, reverse transcription PCR, Northern blotting, RNase protection and primer extension, and expression array assays.
